Dr. Uribe has been practicing Gastroenterology since 2005 and joined M.A.G.I.C. in 2015. He has special expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures including:
- Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
- Balloon enteroscopy
- Enteral stenting
- Endoscopic mucosal resection
Prior to joining M.A.G.I.C., Dr. Uribe served as the Associate Chief of Endoscopy at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia where he also received his Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology fellowship training.
Dr. Uribe has held several physician leadership positions. He has presented original research at national and international GI meetings. He has also served as manuscript reviewer for the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy journal.
Dr. Uribe was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where he attended medical school. His professional mission is to be the best gastroenterologist he possibly can be by listening carefully to patients, taking time to understand patients’ needs and providing excellent care.
